How Wands Uses the Connector
PDS integration is done through Reports Wands product. When PDS is enabled, launching Report Wands will pull the business views that have been created under the users account in Angles Professional. Reports Wands allows all types of data and business views to be reported. It also supports a variety of connections. To check connections and business views:
- Launch Angles Professional.
- Click on Connections or Business Views to view definitions.
Business Views can be defined using existing data source entities or custom SQL.
Enable/Disable PDS
- Launch Wands.
- Click Admin Options.
- Go to Configuration tab.
- Under Reports Wands, select Platform Data Sharing and select Enable Reports Wand insights options to enable PDS.
- Click Next and/or Save.
Create a Report
To create report using existing report definitions:
- Click Create.

Select the business view to be used and click Next.
Note: The PDS business view ID has been prefixed with PDS, and the Name has been suffixed with (PDS). Category column displays the connection that the business view has been created for. This will help with filtering the through the available Report Definitions to find specific PDS content.
Category tab displays the connections that have been used.
- Choose the columns to be used for your report and click Finish to generate the template.
To insert a Run Report function from PDS, click Insert Run Report.
Available search options for reports:
- Search available fields
- Add conditions to filter your report results
- Limit the number of records returned by your report
