Report Wizard Output

When you click the Finish button on the Report Wizard dialog, GL Wand will open a new Excel workbook and create a report layout based on the input you provided. You can adjust the values in the header (e.g. Year and Period Number) to refresh the report with different data. We recommend creating a List of Values for applicable report header parameters. This makes selection of parameter values easier and reduces the chances of errors when changing the values. Refer to List of Values – Create; for information on creating Lists of Values.

Certain row and column filter parameters are hidden. To expose them, highlight the rows or columns surrounding the hidden areas, right click and select unhide. The ‘Multiply’ column is useful for switching the sign on a row by multiplying by -1. You can also use it to show values in units (e.g. Thousands or Millions).
