Drive Types

Drive Type	Advantages	Disadvantages
Oracle E-Business Suite Database	Wands recommended Drive Type. The Shared Templates Drive is always available.	Requires creation of a database table to store Drive files. Database storage can be more expensive when compared to other Drive type storage costs.
File Server	Familiar and trusted file storage service. General availability of File Servers in Enterprise organizations.	Additional setup for existing and new users to ensure full access to File Server location. Possible limitations accessing the file server when working remotely.

Changing the Drive Type Option

Delete all Shared Templates files.
Delete Public Drilldown templates or disable the Public flag.
Change the Drive Type option on the System Administrator Configuration Options form.
Recreate all Shared Templates files and Drilldown templates.
